Class B motorhomes are built by a variety of full service RV manufacturers, dedicated class B builders, and smaller conversion van outfits. Unlike the majority of class A and class C rigs, which are primarily built in and around Indiana, there are a lot of popular class B motorhome manufacturers based in Canada. These Canadian class B motorhome manufacturers often maintain US-based mailing addresses and contact numbers to service their American customer bases.

The other main difference between class B motorhome manufacturers and other RV companies is that most class B motorhomes are built on “complete” van chassis. From that starting point, these manufacturers typically gut the interiors in order to install the typical features you expect in an RV. Some class B RV manufacturers also alter the body lines as well, although many maintain the original form factor of the base vehicle.
