Holiday Rambler first started building travel trailers in 1953, and the company continues to produce both travel trailers and motorhomes today. It was privately held until 1986, when the company was sold to Harley-Davidson. It would later change hands again when it was purchased by the luxury RV manufacturer Monaco. When Monaco was later purchased by Navistar after bankruptcy proceedings, Holiday Rambler continued to operate as an independent brand. Most recently, Navistar sold sold its RV manufacturing assets to American Industrial Partners, where it joined the likes of Fleetwood as part of the Allied Specialty Vehicles unit.
Throughout the years, Holiday Rambler has been known as a primarily upscale RV manufacturer, and many of the longest-standing innovations in the industry were first introduced in Holiday Rambler coaches. Holiday Rambler was the first motorhome manufacturer to utilize an all-aluminum frame, and they were also the first to offer a class A motorhome with a slide-out kitchen, which eventually paved the way for double and even quadruple slide-outs.
Holiday Rambler is a full line RV manufacturer, with everything from class B rigs to (relatively) small diesel pushers in their lineup.
Holiday Rambler’s current small class A lineup includes:
